The Western Washington Indian Employment and Training Program,
commonly referred to by it's acronym -- WWIETP (Wee Tip) is a unique and
progressive Native American Corporation located within Western Washington
State. The overriding goal of the community it represents is to: Provide
the broadest delivery of training and education services to its people
in order to alleviate their inordinately high unemployment rate... This
rate is now near 50%.
Its personality and cohesiveness is directly attributed to the wise
delegates on its very active and productive Board of Directors. This
"Board" represents the following tribes and Inter-Tribal Organizations
located west of the Cascade Mountain Range; stretching north from the
Canadian Border and south to the mighty Columbia River.
